With the constant weather changes that Wisconsin can bring, please check the calendars if there is a possibility of cancellation or postponement. LPS Athletics Schedules
Last week was Homecoming week at Luther Prep. Thanks to our many photographers for capturing all the memories. Over 1400 pictures were added to the Homecoming folder on SmugMug!

This Sunday marks the first stop for the 2026-27 Prep Singers. Once again this year, the Prep Singers will be visiting various local churches throughout the school year. They will also spend Spring Break on a tour to Missouri, Oklahoma, Texas, Kansas, and Nebraska.

Former LPS Students Published in the WELS Historical Institute Journal
Did you know there is a theological German elective class at Luther Prep? Pastor Souksamay Phetsanghane started this course in the 2017-2018 school year. It is a course that can be taken at the same time as the required German 3 course.
In this theological German elective, the students get to daily translate and discuss selections from Martin Luther’s sermons. While translating is a part of the class, this elective primarily gets the students into the study of the doctrines mentioned in the sermons. This naturally leads to applications to life at Prep, public ministry, and beyond.
In addition to the daily selections from Luther’s sermons, there is a larger translation project for this elective. During the 2019-2020 school year, the students translated an article by Professor C.F.W. Walther ““Sententiam teneat, linguam corrigat” [“Let him keep his conviction, correct his language”]. This was originally published in the Missouri Synod’s journal: Lehre und Wehre, Volume 27 (1881), pages 43-54. Below are the students who prepared the translation:
