Phoenix Golfers Finish Fourth in Midwest Classic Opener
Senior Owen Faber shot an impressive 40 in cold temps and high winds at Mee-Kwon Golf Course in Mequon as the Phoenix golfers opened their conference season Monday. Faber finished third overall of the 34 golfers competing. Also scoring were Juniors Caleb Fitzsimmons and Ethan Hanevik, as well as Seniors Nathan Veenhuis and Malachi Finkbeiner. The Phoenix carded a team score of 189, good for fourth of the seven teams in action.
