Final Exams
The final exam schedule for all students has been set. The exams begin Wednesday, May 18 and continue through Friday, May 20.
Commencement Concert - May 20th - 7:00 pm
Graduation - May 21 - 10:00 am
ACT ASPIRE RESULTS
The results of the ACT Aspire for 9th and 10th graders will be released in July. The results will be shared with families once we receive them. The ACT Aspire was taken by our 9th and 10th graders on May 2nd. The ACT Aspire is helpful to students and families because it provides a predicted ACT score. This test also gives students practice on an exam that is very similar to the ACT.
The use of the ACT as a required part of admissions for most colleges has changed since the Covid-19 school year. More colleges have made it an optional part of admissions. As a note, MLC does still ask for the ACT with a minimum score of 20 as part of the admissions process. Even if a college doesn't require the ACT for admissions, its score can be used to secure merit-based financial aid. Even though your child is currently finishing up their 9th and 10th grade year, it is good to start investigating some of the admission expectations of colleges or universities of interest.
