This Sunday, April 28th at 4:00 pm, Luther Prep student George Hogan will be presenting a Senior Piano and Organ Recital in the Luther Preparatory School chapel. The program will be a combination of both sacred and classical literature and will feature the chapel’s Steinway grand piano as well as its 35-rank Berghaus pipe organ. The recital is open to the public at no cost.
George Hogan is a senior at Luther Preparatory School and has taken piano lessons for nearly 13 years and organ lessons for 3. He has accompanied the Luther Prep choirs during concerts on campus numerous times and also regularly plays piano and organ for evening chapel services. Additionally, he also serves as organist occasionally at Trinity Lutheran Church in Watertown and Lord and Savior Lutheran Church of Crystal Lake, IL. In the fall, George will begin his pastoral studies at Martin Luther College in New Ulm, MN while also continuing his studies in organ.
