Parent Update

January 2021

We pray all of you enjoyed a blessed Christmas with your families as you celebrated the birth of our Savior. LPS welcomes back our students for this second semester, asking our God to bless it as he did the first semester.

Perhaps you are aware that our faithful teachers willingly logged many more hours than normal this past semester because of the virtual learning they provided to students who were quarantined. Already a few students will remain at home this first week on account of being a close contact with a family member who tested positive. Beginning this semester our teachers will only be providing virtual learning for those students who have tested positive or those who have been quarantined by a health department or Dean Vannieuwenhoven in conjunction with the Watertown Health Department. Virtual learning will not be offered for those who miss school days for other reasons. As has been done in all other years, those students will want to touch base with their teachers as to how they will need to make up missed classes, assignments, etc.

Thank you for your understanding.

A joyous New Year in Christ,
Matt Crass – LPS president
