Welcome to Jr. Nix!
The Luther Preparatory School Lady Junior Nix Program provides WELS Lutheran grade school upper grade students the opportunity to participate in a developmental basketball program within a Christian environment. 5th through 8th grade girls who currently attend a WELS Lutheran grade school and are considering Luther Prep as their high school are invited to participate this Fall. Our goal is to have a 5th-6th team and a 7th-8th team.
The Lady Junior Nix will compete in the Eastern Suburban Youth Basketball League (ESYBL). The league is composed mostly of local area high school junior teams and there are usually 2-3 games on a Saturday between 9am - 3pm.
- Practices will occur on Sundays, October 4, 11, 18, and 25 from 2:00 PM–3:30 PM leading up to the Saturday game play.
- Once games begin on Saturday, October 31st, no further practices will take place.
- Game play will begin on Saturday, October 31st and will take place each Saturday through December 14th (excluding Thanksgiving week). A schedule of game locations and times will be provided by October 9th.
- Registration deadline is Wednesday, September 16th.
- A participation fee of $75 is required.
- Each player will receive a Jr. Nix t-shirt.
- Register your daughter and pay the fee by September 16th below.
