June 12-15, 2019 - Incoming Grades 6-7
Are you looking to improve your game or make the team next year? Do you love the game of basketball and want to have even more fun playing?Players are made in the off season! The time you spend practicing the fundamentals can dramatically improve your game. Time spent playing against better players will help you become more competitive on the court.
As a camper at the Phoenix camp, you will have the opportunity not only to improve your individual skills (dribbling, shooting, passing, etc…), but also get a better understanding of playing team ball. You will be given the opportunity to take it to the rack in one on one competitive contests against other campers. Win awards as you learn to tickle the twine during daily Hot Shot competition. Learn to have ice in your veins as you beat other campers in free throw contests.
We’re sure you’ll have a great time becoming the best player you can be!Come to the Overnight Phoenix Camp this year and take home a camp t-shirt, a new set of valuable basketball skills and great memories!
Luther Preparatory School is part of our synod’s worker training system. Our students come from all over the United States and from other parts of the world, each with the intent of exploring the possibility of becoming a full-time worker in the Lord’s kingdom as a pastor or teacher.
The purpose of our Phoenix Overnight Camp is to impart valuable basketball skills within the framework of full days of hard work and a lot of fun. We want young Christians to have the opportunity to meet and have fellowship with other Christian athletes. We want to give campers the experience of living in a dormitory (as most of our students do). We want to give our campers an experience they will remember.
The fee for full time campers is $190. Local campers who do not wish to board are also welcome to attend at a reduced rate.
Registration Form and deposit due before May 20th.
Enrollment will be limited to the first 120 campers to apply. Accepted participants will be notified by May 29th.
