 | Students will take a full course load all four years at LPS. Although a cumulative total of only twenty-four credits is required for graduation, Most students graduate with a total of thirty or more credits.
The minimum twenty-four credits must include:
- English - 4.0 credits
- Foreign Language* - 3 credits
- Fine Arts** - 4.0 credits
- Mathematics - 3.0 credits
- Lab Science - 3.0 credits
- Social Studies - 3.0 credits
*Students start with Latin 1 and then must take at least 3 additional foreign language credits.
**Includes music and art courses; band, 2 years of keyboard, chorus, and handbells.
In addition, students are required to complete successfully a course in religion for each year of attendance and a course in physical education for grades nine through eleven.
